About this Recipe

These treats are famous in all around the United States, and American children go really crazy
for them. The recipe comes directly from the official Rice Krispies® cereal website. l I just
put the quantities in grams for simplicity and measurements in centimeters (for the same reason).


  • 40g butter
  • 300g marshmallows
  • 150g Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® cereal

5 minutes

Melt the butter in a large saucepan, add the marshmallows and stir until they are completely melted. Add the Rice Krispies® and stir with a spatula until they are completely covered by the mixture of butter and marshmallows.

Spread it allover a sheet of parchment paper in a 30 x 20 cm rectangle deep one finger. Let it dry and cool the mixture, then cut it into 5 cm cubes.

These treats are excellent tasted immediately and keep them for a couple of days stored in an airtight container.
