Cardamom Cardamom is a green-colored pod that contains tiny seeds and is remotely related to turmeric and ginger.

It is very often employed in Indian cuisine and it tastes stimulating and mild at the same time. To take the seeds out you must cut the pod by means of the tip of a small knife, open it slightly and let them drop out. Cardamom can be found also as powder.
